10 cos grab around 30.08pc of total turnover

The top 10 turnover leaders Monday captured around 30.08 per cent of the turnover featured by the premier bourse.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) featured a turnover of above Tk 3.89 billion of which Tk 1.11 billion came from the transactions of top 10 turnover leaders.

The turnover chart of the premier bourse includes Doreen Power Generations and Systems, MJL Bangladesh, Argon Denims, Square Pharmaceuticals and Fortune Shoes.

Doreen Power Generations and Systems topped the volume chart with a value of above Tk 271.7 million. The company`s turnover captured 7.32 per cent of the turnover featured by the premier bourse.

MJL Bangladesh posted a turnover of above Tk 182.5 million and captured 4.92 per cent of the market turnover.

Argon Denims posted a turnover of above Tk 137.3 million which was 3.70 per cent of the turnover featured by the Dhaka bourse.

Square Pharmaceuticals captured 2.60 per cent of the DSE`s turnover by featuring a turnover of above Tk 96.30 million.

Fortune Shoes posted a turnover of above Tk 91.1 billion which was 2.46 of the turnover featured by the premier bourse.

Among the turnover leaders of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), Reliance Insurance was the number one turnover leader with a value of above Tk 20.11 million followed by Square Pharmaceuticals above Tk 10.38 million, Fortune Shoes above Tk 9.50 million, Doreen Power Generations and Systems above Tk 8.51 million and Al-Arafa Islami Bank above Tk 7.61 million.
