Doreen tops DSE volume chart, NBL CSE`s

Doreen Power Generations and Systems once again topped the volume chart of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Wednesday while National Bank Limited (NBL) was the number one turnover leader on the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).

Top 10 turnover leaders on the day captured around 30.8 per cent of the turnover featured by the premier bourse.

The premier bourse featured a turnover of above Tk 5.91 billion and above Tk 3.01 billion or 30.8 per cent of the market turnover came from the overall turnover generated by top 10 leaders. The top five turnover leaders of the premier bourse were Doreen Power Generations and Systems, KDS Accessories, Fortune Shoes, Aman Feed and TITAS Gas.

Among the DSE`s turnover leaders, Doreen Power Generations and Systems featured a turnover of above Tk 370.90 million and captured 6.3 per cent of the market total. The company`s shares witnessed a price hike of 4.32 per cent to close at Tk 115.80. The KDS Accessories captured 3.7 per cent of the market turnover by featuring a turnover of above Tk 216 million. The company`s share price rose 5.79 per cent to close at Tk 83.70. Fortune Shoes posted a turnover of above Tk 181.90 million and shared 3.1 per cent of the turnover featured by the premier bourse. The company`s share price declined 8.11 per cent to close at Tk 43.90.

Aman Feed witnessed a turnover of Tk 167.2 million and captured 2.8 per cent of the market turnover. The company`s share price went up by 2.09 per cent to close at Tk 83.30.
