Internet service of the country may be disrupted seven days from October 21 to October 27 due to the maintenance work of submarine cable.
"The SEA-ME-WE-4 Consortium would carry out maintenance work of the undersea cable at its Singapore end from 12am of October 21 to 2pm of October 27 that may disrupt internet service temporarily in the country," informed Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) Director (Public Relations and Publication) Meer Mohammad Morshed on Thursday, reports BSS.
"But, the internet service would be kept on through alternative arrangement during the period," he added.
