JSC, JDC exams from Nov 1

Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations-2016 will begin on November 1.

24,10,015 examinees are expected to participate this year’s examination.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid confirmed it to reporters in the conference room of the Education Ministry on Sunday, reports BSS.

Education Secretary Md Sohrab Hossain, senior officials of the ministry and chairmen of different education boards, among others, were present in the press briefing.

"The number of JSC examinees is 20,35,543, Of them, 9,47,933 are males while 10,87,610 females," Nahid said, adding a total of 3,78,472 examinees will participate in the JDC examination this year. Among the JDC students, 1,75,219 are males and 1,99,243 females, he added.

"The JSC and JDC examinations will started from November 1 and end on 17 November. The results will be published within 30 days the examinations," the education minister added.
