Quasem Drycells tops turnover chart

Quasem Drycells Tuesday topped the volume chart on Dhaka Stock Exchange (CSE), while EXIM Bank was number turnover leader on the port city bourse.

The DSE featured a turnover of above Tk 3.76 billion. Top 10 turnover leaders captured 29.4 per cent of the turnover featured by the premier bourse.

After a long time, Doreen Power Generations and Systems lost its number one position from the turnover chart of premier bourse.

Quasem Drycells topped the day`s turnover chart with a value of Tk 152.5 million which was 4.0 per cent of the market turnover. The company witnessed a growth in quarterly earnings.

Doreen Power Generations and Systems featured a turnover of Tk 152.2 million which was 4.0 per cent of the turnover witnessed by the Dhaka bourse.

MJL Bangladesh posted a turnover of Tk 144.4 million which was 3.8 per cent of the turnover featured by the premier bourse.

Bangladesh Building Systems captured 3.0 per cent of the market turnover by featuring a turnover of Tk 111.70 million.

Fortune Shoes posted a turnover of Tk 108.60 million which was 2.90 per cent of the turnover featured by the premier bourse.

Among the turnover leaders of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), EXIM Bank topped the volume chart with a value above Tk 18.72 million followed by Fortune Shoes above Tk 12.21 million, BSRM Limited above Tk 10.72 million, Square Pharmaceuticals above Tk 9.76 million and KDS Accessories above Tk 8.75 million.
